kingi focuses on fresh, locally sourced food prepared in thoughtful, innovative and approachable ways, with a focus on the outstanding bounty of New Zealand’s ocean and land. Savour the terroir of New Zealand’s oceans, rivers, dunes, and forests and enjoy a good glass of wine. Life is sweeter in rhythm with the land and sea. 

At kingi, a deep connection to the ocean and land is celebrated on every plate and in every glass.    

Our focus is on sustainably caught, grown and gathered ingredients that taste like the places they came from, working in partnership with independent local fishers, farmers, hunters and growers who share our values.

kingi Private is a sophisticated, brick-lined private dining or conference space. The private dining menu echoes the menu at kingi, with some special twists and additions, and is focused around sustainably sourced and seasonal produce from New Zealand.
